Quite a bit of brouhaha today on the web regarding Seymour Hersh's expose on US military activity in Iran.

One angle is Bob Kohn's "throw him in jail" post. I tend to agree with Roger L Simon's more conspiracy oriented, and in my view more likely, explanation.

Either way I'm happy to see this. I was worried that holding my nose and supporting Bush would not see the administration follow through and keep the pressure up on the axis. No matter what the Hersh story really is, the President came out firm with regard to the Mullahs. Anyone else notice the timing as being right before the elections in Iraq? A shot across the bow that Iran should not meddle perhaps?
