I just can't believe how wonderful these pictures of all the marriages occurring in San Francisco city hall are.

Two things I noticed. First, check out all the happy kids with their male or female partnered dads and moms. Second - I actually know one of the women pictured. I had no idea. I am not going to point her out for her privacy, but I'm so happy for her!

Political prediction - Newsome wins the court case based on the California constitution's equal protection clause. California politics will make it very hard for the legislature to over-rule - especially with the Governator around.
